How is your Coffee Ritual an act of Rebellion?
Share
Welcome to my first blog article for Sensual Coffee.
And don't be surprised—I'm writing about life, not just coffee. I hope that resonates with you. However, I am convinced that as soon as something comes from the heart and is authentic, it will strike a chord. And even though coffee and moments with coffee and tea are a source of inspiration for me, this moment is obviously about life itself, the moment of being.
At a time when I can have any article written by AI in seconds, it's harder than ever to understand what difference a person's words, thoughts, and work make. And this is where it gets philosophical.
What gives our existence fulfillment?
Is it efficiency?
Should we compete with technology?
Feel threatened by it?
What is the core?
Aren't words there to create awareness?
To be able to express one's deepest thoughts and emotions?
Why have we as a society allowed ourselves to believe that it matters how long it takes to form an article or a thought? When the process of forming thoughts is the real magic? No AI can take over this process. It belongs purely to humans.
Forming thoughts inefficiently and sitting there for three hours with just a cup of coffee, contemplating existence, becomes an act of rebellion in an industrialized society. Creating the space to be human and consciously refusing to be abused as a cog in an inhuman system.
Of course, I'm happy when as many people as possible want to try the coffee I offer. But even here, I resist doing boring, soulless marketing. Instead, I want to write and share articles like this one. And I hope that some of you will enjoy it.
